COMMENTS: Unique lens, very high quality and very fast for an 85mm lens. Great for full frame use to isolate subjects via a shallow depth of field. A great portrait lens. Downsides are slow AF and a high price. A newer (Mk II) version is available with somewhat faster AF. The Mk II version also supplies distance info for E-TTL II use, however it costs quite a bit more.
