COMMENTS: The predecessor to the current EF 16-35/2.8L USM. A good lens which you might be able to find for a price significantly lower than a new (or used) 16-35/2.8L. Optically it's pretty similar in quality and performance to the new 16-35/2.8L, but it doesn't focus quite so close (max mag is 0.11x vs. 0.22x for the 16-35) and it doesn't go quite as wide.
