COMMENTS: If the EF 16-35/2.8L is too large or too expensive, the EF 17-40/4L is the next best thing. A well constructed "L" series lens with a ring USM motor, it gives good ultra-wideangle zoom coverage for a full frame camera. On an APS-C sensor body it has the FOV of a 27-64mm on a full frame body, so it's still a very useful wide to normal zoom.
