COMMENTS: Canon's widest "affordable" prime lens at around $420. Center sharpness is good, but the edges/corners can be a little soft, especially at wide apertures. Some people prefer the Zeiss 21/2.8 manual focus lens which can be mounted on an EOS body via an adapter (Contax->EOS). It's better, but even a used one will probably cost you close to $2000, so you pay dearly for the sharper edges!
