COMMENTS: This is a lower end consumer zoom with a plastic lensmount and a micro USM motor (no full time manual focus). It should not be confused with the EF 28-105/3/5-4.5 USM, which is a mid-range lens with a ring USM motor, full time manual focus, a metal lensmount and a distance scale. Personally I'd pay the extra $80 and get the better lens.
