COMMENTS: One of Canon's three "tilt and shift" lenses, but the 24mm is the only one given an "L" designation by Canon. By tilting the lens you can change the plane of focus to effectively increase of decrease DOF (it doesn't really increase or decrease DOF, but you can tilt the plane of focus). By shifting the lens you can correct for converging or diverging verticals in architectural shots. The lens is manual focus, but the "green dot" focus confirmation light operates.
