COMMENTS: This is a "normal" prime for APS-C sensor cameras. On a Canon APS-C DSLR it gives the same field of view as a 48mm f1.4 lens woul on full frame, so it's the approximate analog of a 50/1.4 prime for FF. It's 2/3 stop faster than the Canon EF 28/1.8 which has a similar FOV (= 45mm on full frame) and costs about the same.
